EDUCATION

Writing the story

The education industry is at the crossroads of change.  While still focused on information and knowledge transferral, the industry is faced with many new realities that challenge the obsolete methodologies and models of who has it, who receives it, and how and where is it transferred.

No longer reliant on print sources and in-person classrooms, students are being redefined and allowed to learn through new mediums such as photography, video, and interactive experiences. The demand for visual content is exploding as remote learning through the internet continues to mature. Video is often the preferred means of learning and information consumption and studies have shown that short clips assist with efficient processing and recall.

And technology continues to allow the best and the brightest from around the world to become tomorrow’s teachers.  Short informational clips provide deeper knowledge and allow teachers to engage with students as facilitators instead of lecturers.  All of this change is not only placing a demand on video content created for the students but it can also be used to help our educational professionals learn and communicate with one another.
